Cape Reason Episode 7

Kurt Volkan is publisher and editor at Pitchstone Publishing, whose books endeavor to promote reason and the rational at the expense of superstition and the irrational. Founded in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2003 and virtually based in Durham, NC, Pitchstone’s most recent title is Why We Believe in God(s): A Concise Guide to the Science of Faith, by J. Anderson Thomson, with Clare Aukofer, and with a foreword by Richard Dawkins. Kurt holds degrees from the University of Virginia, the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies, and Duke University. When not publishing or editing, his remaining work hours are spent writing screenplays.
